(All right)

I know it’s all right, but I got praised a little bit extra (too much, perhaps) by my professor for some work I did on a menu. He finished the meeting by asking me to come work with some graphics for the university during spring.

Met Kazue. Perhaps not the most interesting story, but…
It felt good. She’s been sorry (perhaps even pissed. Yes most likely pissed too) I broke up with her in a certain Information Design fashion: by email.

This was years ago.

She was demanding a proper brakeup (and, of course, an apology for the mail-one) last week. I had my doubts. But I went. We had dinner, she told me she was leaving for a life in NY in February, and perhaps it was meant for us to meet on that train so I could finally apologize properly before she went.

And I did.

Said it again by the station on the way home. We had a final hug and said goodbye.
Felt very good to get the apology from off my chest (I were, in fact, an asshole at the time). And I could tell she felt good too.

I don’t think I’d ever get that from my last girlfriend, but…that can’t be helped – she was too young. Young people don’t do this sort off stuff.
