Missed it last year, but have been faithfull to the thing since way back. 2000 or 2001, I forget.
M got a little bored, eventually so did I (makes me wonder if our priorities are were they should be), but alas, the thing was good.Ok maybe not that good. The good djs were there (Denki Groove made me all too happy I completely disregarded the poor mixing, the awkward silence between some tracks…), but maybe more there in terms of physical apparence rather than spirit. Alas, a good time.

An excellent blog about posteriors.
Daniel-san came over. He left in such a hurry, and the trip back the other month were short, but this time around things were different. Using his words: “I got closure (from Japan)â€.
This vows good for me. Cautiously good, is what it vows. I’ve been depositing monthly in the happiness-bank of Japan. I expect some kind of turnover when it would finally be time to cash out. The question is just how big my return on investment is.
Daniel were reluctant to drop his formula for happiness here, or actually, I forgot to ask.
But we did have a nice dinner. Had some kind of skewers. He had cow that may or may not have been massaged in Kobe.
No pictures. My cellphone were turned off by the caring people of Softbank, and my camera was gone.
Have I been avoiding a connection at home?
One might say so. But no, mostly it stems from my inability to “telephone”.
I mail.
That’s what I do on a cellphone: I mail.
Talking I don’t care that much for, if talking means spending more time than giving directions or saying “I’ll be late”.
It’s not that I am afraid of the phone. I just need to see people when talking. Mouths moving, or whatever.
…and that is why I haven’t ordered internet for half a year.
Now I have, though. Should be up in a month.
My blog got messed up. Something to do with my web-hotel, some of that technical thingamahjing I’m knowing less and less about.
That aside, the thing seems to be working now.
1 month of hectic life – friends and family visiting – leaving 0 time for a personal life. Photos will come after I take a vacation (scheduled sometime 2 weeks from now). The holiday that Japanese refer to as “Golden Week” were stolen from me, so I’ve earned one.
Sofia and her crew from Ocean Observations made it to the J-shores.
(we used to work at Razorfish back in 99 (or was it 2000?)). As with many other “fishes”, we’ve kept in touch.
Introduced her to Yasu and the Hashimoto-folks some time ago. April saw a nice reunion as sorta evident here:
Back to my old workplace, in a new position.
Starting next Monday. Excited.
Following the mayhem of last week, Yasu took it upon us to ride a boat while watching flowers. With the boats being fully booked already (and my suggestion of riding peddle-swanboats in Inokashira park rejected) we headed for the next best thing: browsing drunks in Ueno. A pasttime very worthy of a mention.
Since most of us left Tamabi, the remaining kids at Kouken felt lonely and dragged us all out to Shinjuku. I’m glad they dare to change pastures, out to Shinjuku, where people actually live as oppose to the jungles of Hashimoto. All good.
(Ikuya lacks enzymes and makes huge savings on drinks. The event offered free drinks, though, as evident by Yuumin on the right)
(Not sure who that was. Maybe Toshi, but probably Ikkun. He’s everywhere)
(Yagi, posing as highway-wildlife about to get run over by a car)

Turns out not everyone is into convenience. I do have buddies who labels me under category 2. What else to say but -awesome-?
