Thanks random lady that took the photo, for letting us now when you’d snap.

I have a 100 yen glasses theme going

A fake beach complete with chlorine, no sand and lots of fake but deadly rays. I’m missing a fizzy Mai–tie.

The ocean turned from one shade of pretty to another.

Gay guy in the cigar room, smoking a cigarette, gave me this unintentional freebie:
“I can’t smoke [those] I’d just swallow”. The thing is that that really was unintentional on his end. No one was moved. Not him, not my mom, not the trash “boys” and their gangs around the room. Not the old men, not the alco-moms, no one.
I love going on these trips.

Shimoda – Part 1

Diving, Beachgoing, Fireworks and Frolicking.
Also fiddler-crabs. That was our vacation. Some pictures:

(Getting ready to dive)
(…by snorkling first)(had I just brought an underwater mp3players…)
(…Then on to the reals stuff.)
(A lionfish. Someone reading this might remember the movie “The Naked Gun“, in which one of these fishes bites Lt. Frank Drebin. The villian in the movie desribes these as expensive “Japanese Fighting Fish“, but sadly…they are not that expensive (I were excited about this fish until the diving instructure told me old men eat it in their soup, but otherwise the fish isn’t that exciting. Awh))
(Albeit tiny, here’s a fugu trying to escape Masami)
(Compulsary artsy shot)

Kouken, again

Since most of us left Tamabi, the remaining kids at Kouken felt lonely and dragged us all out to Shinjuku. I’m glad they dare to change pastures, out to Shinjuku, where people actually live as oppose to the jungles of Hashimoto. All good.

(Had my portfolio with my by chance. Aoi, Midori and more kids went nuts. Photographed the whole thing cover to back)

art. in your face

The club/circle I were in held a final sayonara-party for us people leaving. Almost all members showed up. I’ll miss all the kids. And, here’s why I’ve always refered to them as kids:

(Getting creative)

(A happy bunch and a walking exhibition)

(Bound to happen sooner or later)

Graphic Exhibition

(hey whitey)

The graphic kids had theirs last weekend.
Were late so I missed the screening of the ads I were in (and narrating, for some).

Exhibition suprise: far less nudity than expected for design students.

Gallery @ Quest, Harajuku

My namecards, ALL my namecards, were gone in a few hours. I suspect the kids took em. It’s always fun to have a foreigners card. Which is ok, but can’t seem to shake my notion on foreign friendliness:
After 4 years I were hoping I’ldve been upgraded from “foreigner friend*1” to “friend
*2“.

Maybe in a few more 4-years.

Place was big enough to house 30-something kids stuff.
…And Yuumins awesome fashion
…But not enough for my extra stuff (I snucked my ads in there). Had to improvise something taking up half the hallway and the lounge.

*1, not really friend, more hugable animal with human qualities
*2, plain. real.

New years resolution
