Kouken, again

Since most of us left Tamabi, the remaining kids at Kouken felt lonely and dragged us all out to Shinjuku. I’m glad they dare to change pastures, out to Shinjuku, where people actually live as oppose to the jungles of Hashimoto. All good.

(Had my portfolio with my by chance. Aoi, Midori and more kids went nuts. Photographed the whole thing cover to back)

Flowers

Hanami. I missed it save 1 h of semimandatory company outing.

Afterparty 3

Final stop, Shinjuku, back with the infodesign- (and some Kouken-) kids. Karaoke and spontanious snoozing on the floor.

(It’s 5 in the morning. I…look like this when it’s…5 in the morning)

Afterparty 2

Second stop, Shibuya. Graphic design kids, all dressed up. Funny.

(Hiromi staying true to those hiphop-roots the kids here seems to like so much, despite his suit)
(Marine in a pinch)
(Last night a dj didn’t save my life. From smoking)

Afterparty 1

Afterparties with the teachers, others. First stop, Tokyo-dome hotel with the Information Design kids.

(Ikuya lacks enzymes and makes huge savings on drinks. The event offered free drinks, though, as evident by Yuumin on the right)
(Not sure who that was. Maybe Toshi, but probably Ikkun. He’s everywhere)
(Yagi, posing as highway-wildlife about to get run over by a car)
(Info-Kids dressed up as adults)

I do

(Ikuya waving the flag of friendship. On a trip I’m not even on! Awesome)

Turns out not everyone is into convenience. I do have buddies who labels me under category 2. What else to say but -awesome-?

Officially updating

Found my camera. Graduation pictures. More to come…

(All of Kouken)

(Masami (hot))

((Ikuya. You can’t tell, but I’m wearing Swedish underwear)
(Smin wore the dress she designed at Tamabi. I think)
(Ikuya again. Can’t take enough pictures of Ikkun at an event like this)
(Hiromi, not wearing b-boy attire for a change)
(Genki. He’ll be out of that place next year)
(Aoba looking Foxy)
(Again, it’s hard not have Ikkun around…)
(The Sugiyama family)
(I may look drunken, but I’m not)
(Information Design kids. I’m not even in that group)
(…flowers by Masami, btw)
(Putting on a serious face with Hoshino. Yes, that is as serious face she could ever put on. Ever. And I thank her for it)
(Rachel. Is Honma checking her out?)
(Handsome gents)
(Yoshiko. I’m stopping by their thing next year)
(Aoooh-ii. And someone slapping herself in disbelief in the back)
(Hey, whatcha looking at? Looking mean with Tsubasa)
(…impersonating an obnoxious drunk with Yaajii)
(Happy times with teachers)
(Imoteee brushes his teeths)
(Masami slightly jellous I’m not leaning on her. Sorry)
(Pocketcloth = class)
(Bashi stopped by. We were planning to go on a boat, sometime)
(Mischievious with Yuichiro)
(2 thumbs up for…I forgot)
(a couple of fingers for…I forgot)
(Kanako)
(Saito, as salaryman as he could possibly be)
(Yasu came by too)

Immigratulations (premature)

Went there and got treated well. Very, very well (as in “you can skip that, and that, go straight to freedom).
It’s all in the name-value of the place I’m going too. A secret club if you will, like the stonecutters, that opens up doors. All good.

art. in your face

The club/circle I were in held a final sayonara-party for us people leaving. Almost all members showed up. I’ll miss all the kids. And, here’s why I’ve always refered to them as kids:

(Getting creative)

(A happy bunch and a walking exhibition)

(Bound to happen sooner or later)

"you know what they say ’bout guys with big feets"

(Not related to this night, but, same gang. Got my hair done)

Met up with Yasu and the byspice gang after the exhibition. That means enjoying some food and drinks. Usually too much of the latter.

After too much of the latter I stumbled my way to Masami. And onto her feet, ruining (besides the illusion of me being considorate) a pair of 70.000 yen d&g shoes.

Bonus: also ruined – feelings.

Graphic Exhibition

(hey whitey)

The graphic kids had theirs last weekend.
Were late so I missed the screening of the ads I were in (and narrating, for some).

Exhibition suprise: far less nudity than expected for design students.
