It was that time of year again, the Art Festival spectacle that is Geisai at Tama Art University.
This year, such as 6 years ago, I were the outsider (i.e. not student) and were left to my own faith after closing hours. Alas, managed to get away in one piece.

Been a while with the BySpice-guys. Brought the belated can of surstromming and ruined the evening for a lot of bystanders. All in the name of fun, of course.
David were in town for a few months, shaping up his Japanese great works 🙂

(Getting ready to dive)
(…by snorkling first)
(had I just brought an underwater mp3players…)
(…Then on to the reals stuff.)
(A lionfish. Someone reading this might remember the movie “The Naked Gun“, in which one of these fishes bites Lt. Frank Drebin. The villian in the movie desribes these as expensive “Japanese Fighting Fish“, but sadly…they are not that expensive (I were excited about this fish until the diving instructure told me old men eat it in their soup, but otherwise the fish isn’t that exciting. Awh))
(Albeit tiny, here’s a fugu trying to escape Masami)
(Compulsary artsy shot)
Missed it last year, but have been faithfull to the thing since way back. 2000 or 2001, I forget.
M got a little bored, eventually so did I (makes me wonder if our priorities are were they should be), but alas, the thing was good.
Ok maybe not that good. The good djs were there (Denki Groove made me all too happy I completely disregarded the poor mixing, the awkward silence between some tracks…), but maybe more there in terms of physical apparence rather than spirit. Alas, a good time.
