Started raining while I were making my way home from Shibuya. Within a minute I were soaked in (likely partially radioactive) water. And part sakura flowers.

Got this leather cover for my notebook the other week. Vegetable tanned leather, I believe, so it should turn shade and get even more nice looking over time.

What’s more is that the notebooks are constructed to lay flat when spread. And this cover helps with some added stability.

It have some pocket-less slits, and a pen holder that reverts to being flat when not in use, making it pretty slick.

Naturally I got enough reasons to pick up some work on a simular book-cover idea of mine I’ve had for 2 years now.

Started experimenting with thin (less sturdy but way fluffier-) leather.

Grey A5 sized smooth leather, fluffy on the inside and medium roasted all around. Interchangable colored ribbons able to support 1 large book or 2 small ones. And a handy, slighly more soft- and way more elastic wrapping band in the back.

Comes with a penwrap made from the leftovers.

I’m fine. Spotted some fumes from what I assume was the fire by the harbor.

Pic from my balcony.

Still looking for Tokyo’s best go-to place for pizza. Real pizza.

Putting my feedback on the ground

I hate to see this blog turn into a food documentary, so it is with some regret I post this latest culinary visual misstep.
