Trendy Swedish Nordic lettering….

Misty, rainy days in Tokyo.
Almost as much winter as it gets here.

On the brighter side: just finished up on the bamboos, in-wall shelves
and veranda at my new place. All is well. For now.

…and pretty.

Had to hide the spotlights behind rows of books in order to avoid direct light to our eyes.
Came out nicely, I think. The bambus makes it easier to sleep, well, somehow.

The kitchen were almost done yesterday, save a few racks for utensils.
And the fridge. Were too wide to fit between the sink and wall. Need to trade that one for a slightly narrower one, later.

Bandname + songname

It was bound to happen: given enough time any/all foreigners in Japan will pose at least once for a commercial.

Today it was my turn, and I’m leaving the make-up on for the remainder
of the day, making this my most stylish apartment move-in cleanup ever (see
yesterdays posts).

The car keep telling us we're fat.

Clearly I'm not in with the latest brands and their clever marketing.
The red banner simply says "well…", in the middle of Shibuya. I
appreciate it, though.

Landlord delaying his response that were suppose to come today,
regarding our possible move.

Should things go our way I'm turning the balcony and part of the
bedroom green. It cancels out my enormous power consumption, plus I
get a few animals for free.

Those guys in the pic are about 1000 yen a piece.

…and some scotch on the rocks please

Sausage roll on a stick. Looks like a lollipop, so it should go down
easy with the kids (and out pretty hard I suppose).

If you thought the christmas cake was Japans worse abomination of the
holidays…here’s a worthy contender. Christmas illumination &
lasershow. The theme…not snow but water and waves. Laser shooting
out of the blue sea. Of course.

Obviously this spectacle isn’t a match for the christmas tradition of
couples dumping their families to retreat to love hotels for
copulation (guessing both santa and jesus twists and turns in agony
over that one), I just wanted to throw that one in there.

Outside my office, btw. Nicer pic here.
