Better pictures later. These are from my phone:

Went there and got treated well. Very, very well (as in “you can skip that, and that, go straight to freedom).
It’s all in the name-value of the place I’m going too. A secret club if you will, like the stonecutters, that opens up doors. All good.

The club/circle I were in held a final sayonara-party for us people leaving. Almost all members showed up. I’ll miss all the kids. And, here’s why I’ve always refered to them as kids:

(Getting creative)

(A happy bunch and a walking exhibition)

(Bound to happen sooner or later)

(Not related to this night, but, same gang. Got my hair done)

Met up with Yasu and the byspice gang after the exhibition. That means enjoying some food and drinks. Usually too much of the latter.

After too much of the latter I stumbled my way to Masami. And onto her feet, ruining (besides the illusion of me being considorate) a pair of 70.000 yen d&g shoes.

Bonus: also ruined – feelings.

(hey whitey)

The graphic kids had theirs last weekend.
Were late so I missed the screening of the ads I were in (and narrating, for some).

Exhibition suprise: far less nudity than expected for design students.

(smiling means I’m enjoying it)

It’s as if I want to be without internet, not burden by the tick to park myself in front of the screen every night, feeling I’ve free’d up time to finally pursue my dreams of returning to lazyness. Aaah, sweet lazyness, how I’ve missed you.

Masami brought me. We looked great. Show was good too. The dj-duo, so so.

Uninteresting note: 2manydjs were throwing their hands in the air, but, sideways. Not up.

I used to go to clubs every week first year I got here. But now I don’t don’t even oggle the pole-dancers anymore. Suggested the drags in robot-custom get up there instead but that idea didn’t get much support. Guess it’s just me who see the entertainment value in scandly clad robots dangling from the roof.

(Sadly I don’t have a photo)

Hoshino performed, in a breathtaking sweep of characters; flight attendant, elevator-lady, departmentstore saleswoman and finally a screaming drugstore marketer.

…but it didn’t stop there. She went on to let us all in on the secrets. Not just the different tones in voice, but the special lingo, the bodylanguage and the sales gimmicks.

Hoshino could become anything great when she grows up. Luckily she never will.

A few weeks after I’m reminded why I didn’t enjoy working in Sweden: artsy people (this event had a lot of em). I’ve a very, very hard time standing art- and designerfolks. But they do take fun pictures.

Regardless, the event itself were all right. They vj’d this great Denki Groove video to completely different beats. And I were there with Yamane. She made the thing spin.

Thank you, Yuki, for the new pants. Pure friendliness is what oozes out of you, and you know I appreciate it!

Remember those things I do? Or somewhat did; I’m wrapping them up.

Uploading the first batch today and the remaining bunch during the week. Check in now and/or later.

I’m proud of some. Hectic but good, fun work. They have a home at www.peterhainer.com.

Have some great friends who have helped me too – wether it was something major as copy or just …positioning a camera flash for me. (This one amongs many comes to mind 😉 )

Now I need a brake. I’ve earned it.

(Photographing the waterfall “Shiraito” (White+hair) from a set for a Camera maker. Poor guy had to carry my camerabag through the rocks.)

Hard to update without an internet connection. But, here we are.

These last few weeks have seen a busy me. And so I will remain for quite a while as I am somehow ‘booked’ until mid-march.

In spite of everything I do get to swing by a few beautiful scenaries for some projects. Like this other Wednesday.

(internet-challanged)

Hi. I’m internet-challanged since mid-January for about 2 more weeks.

I check my mail on weekdays and my phonemails daily.

The animals were in no mood for pictures.
At Ueno Zoo with my visiting sis.

(Nope)
(Nope)
(Nope)
(Yes, it was that time of the year again. Spent most of the evening in bed – but – not in a good way; had a cold)
(As Aoi so accurately pointed out: “if you eat their food you’ll turn into a pig”. If you haven’t seen Sen to Chihiro you should)
(Smells so bad it had to be good)
(Willie found a good place for veggies in the Hills. Thanks man)

So, perhaps last night out with these kids. Maybe I’ll catch most of them around the galleries in February, or around March. It’s been fun!

(First snap of my sis in her second visit here)

I got obscene pictures. I just don’t think it’s a good idea to post those on this blog. Regardless – the night of tacos was a success. It’s a yearly thing. Why don’t you come by next year?
